With a national flavor and integrity of Russian Cossacks. To give an opportunity to Moscow citizens to contact with the diversity of cultural and folklore heritage of Cossacks.

In the integrity of our country and in the love to homeland – is the key to prosperity. Festival “Cossack stanitsa” was directed to the enhancing of inter-ethic relations, development of family values and ensuring of age-old Cossack culture continuity as integral part of cultural legacy. Competitions in hacking with sabres, stunts on horseback, folk songs, national master-classes and market have transferred all Moscow citizens many centuries ago. An event that makes us to be proud of our country, its integrity and diversity. 

ON THE FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER

All representors of Cossack’s troops of our country and more than 30 regions-participants have visited the festival in Moscow. Everyone could get acquainted with the trappings of Cossack hut, to taste a real field dinner, to join to the traditional handicrafts. For the first time of holding the festival its participants were welcomed by astronauts from MKS. One of the main moments was ceremonial sanctification of camping temple that after all was given to the Central Cossack army. This event was filled with the real freedom and love to the homeland.
